The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Oct. 5 to 12, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:

  • Tacos El Gavilan, 1258 E. 17th St., Santa Ana, Closed: Oct. 12, Reason: Sewage overflow
  • Taiko, 14775 Jeffrey Road, Suite K, Irvine, Closed: Oct. 11, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Las Brisas, 1734 S. Euclid St., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 6, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 12

  • Bravo Mexican Grill, 1490 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 6
  • The Ice Cream Way, 214 Fifth St., Suite 102, Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Nam Giao Restaurant, 10145 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove, Closed: Oct. 9, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 10
  • Water-mill Rice Cake, 6142 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, Closed: Oct. 9, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 9
