The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of June 25 to July 2. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Nuevo Amanecer (Club de Herbalife), 1331 E. First St., Suite B, Santa Ana, Closed: June 25, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 26
  • Update: The Den Cafe at 2930 Bristol St., Suite B-102, Costa Mesa, which was ordered closed June 25 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen June 26
  • Kim Huong Vietnamese & Chinese Food, 17311 McFadden Ave., Suite B-C, Tustin, Closed: June 25, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 26
  • Hi House, 6638 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, Closed: June 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 30
  • Domino’s, 8682 Beach Blvd., Suite 103, Buena Park, Closed: June 29, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: June 29
  • Sonic, 441 N. Placentia Ave., Fullerton, Closed: June 25, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 26

Walmart Neighborhood Market at 121 N. Beach Blvd., Anaheim, which had its permit downgraded June 22 to prepackaged food only because of insufficient hot water and plumbing in disrepair, had its full permit reinstated June 29.
