The SAPD is trying to unravel a murder involving a man who was found dead at a Santa Ana home located at the 1000 block of West Bishop St., just after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, Jan. 21.

The police officers responded to the home after a report of domestic violence. The officers found a man, in his 30’s, was was dead. The SAPD did not divulge what type of injuries the man had or how he died.

The police officers also found the male victims’ wife, also in her 30’s, with injuries to her upper torso. She was outside of the home. The SAPD did not explain much else about her injuries but they did confirm that she was taken by paramedics to a local hospital. She is expected to survive.

The couple’s two children, aged 9 and 10, fled from the home to the residence of a nearby relative. The police investigators have already interviewed the kids.

The SAPD police investigators have not yet had a chance to speak with the injured woman. She underwent surgery and was still receiving treatment.

The SAPD is is not searching for any other suspects in connection with the male victim’s death.

The names of the couple were not released by the SAPD.
