Advisory: Detectives Investigating A Homicide -1600 Block Of West Wisteria Place

Victim: Pending Notification: Male (51) Santa Ana

On Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 10:29 PM, reports of a shooting with a subject down at 1605 West Wisteria Place came in to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Officers arrived and discovered an adult male suffering an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics arrived on scene and declared the victim deceased at 10:40 PM.

Santa Ana Police Homicide Detectives responded to investigate. The investigation is ongoing.
