On August 13, 2019, at approximately 9:50 PM, the victims were stopped in their vehicle at the intersection of Myrtle St. and Franklin Ave. A newer model, black Jeep Cherokee, with tinted windows, no license plates, and equipped with spotlights, pulled in front of the victims’ vehicle and stopped. The suspect/driver exited the Jeep and approached the victims’ vehicle, according to the SAPD.

The suspect was wearing an outer vest carrier with the words “POLICE” or “FBI” attached to the vest and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect ordered the driver/victim out of the vehicle. The suspect searched the victim and removed approximately $200 from the victim’s person. The suspect entered the Jeep and fled the location in an unknown direction.

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 40-45 yrs. old, 5’8”, heavy build, short black hair, mustache, medium complexion, wearing a black outer vest carrier with the words, POLICE or FBI attached

  1. This joker needs to be stopped ASAP. Repeal Prop 57!! This guy has surely been in trouble before and is now back on the streets, thanks to liberal Californian politicians that did not think this through!
