A forum for Santa Ana mayoral candidates is set for 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 at Latino Health Access, 450 W. Fourth St., according to the O.C. Register.

The forum, sponsored by Voice of OC, the non-profit health agency and other groups, will focus on youth issues.
Six candidates are seeking the post in the November election, including incumbent Miguel Pulido and Councilman David Benavides.

Some of the mayoral candidates have young children, such as Mayor Pulido, who has been married for 22 years.  Others, such as Benavides, don’t mention that they are married or have kids, on their websites.  And at least two of the candidates, Miguel Briseno and George Collins, don’t have any kids.  And two of the candidates appear to be grandparents – Lupe Moreno and Roy Alvarado.

  1. I have a previous engagement (wink wink Lomeli),

So will anyone there ask David if he lives with his wife?

  2. Great idea C.B. While you are at it, how about also asking LHA CEO America Bracho why she keeps calling herself a “Doctor” when she cannot prove she has a license to practice medicine either in her South American homeland or here in the good old EEUU. Fake.

  3. You are ignorant at many levels. The MD degree is given when the MD candidate completes the MD degree requirements. This Gives you the Doctor title. One needs other requirements particular to each country ,region and state in order to obtain the licence to practice.

So you having the degree gives you the tittle of “doctor” irrelevant if you acquired the licence to practice mediciine.
