  1. what happened to a third of the voters in Santa Ana?

There was about 130,000 in Nov 2012 and now there is about 87;000. A 1/3 drop in 10 months.

  2. As soon as they were able to vote, and had a stake to place, they leave for places like Orange and Irvine.

The increasingly transitional population of the city makes governance challenging, therefor panels like this where they encourage early, regular registration drives to capture the newly minted voters are crucial to a party wanting to keep or gain control.
