Orange County Auditor-Controller Jan Grimes Releases the CAFR and OC Citizens’ Report

(Santa Ana, CA) Dec. 30, 2014 – The Orange County Auditor-Controller Department released the Annual OC Citizens’ Report today, also called the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). This report presents financial highlights for the County of Orange, California for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014 and provides the general public a summary of the information contained in the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

“The OC Citizens’ Report is designed to be easily understood by non-accountants and helps provide the transparency in government that the public deserves,” says Auditor-Controller Jan Grimes.

This is the twelfth year the OC Citizens’ Report has been published. The County has received the prestigious Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Reporting for the past eleven years from the Government Finance Officers Association.

The CAFR contains detailed financial statements and information and is intended for in-depth users of financial reports, such as financial analysts and bond rating agencies.

The OC Citizens’ Report and CAFR documents are available for viewing on the Auditor-Controller’s website at http://ac.ocgov.com/info/financial.
