A witness said that he believed the gunshots came from inside the vehicle in question. The driver sped off afterwards and the car has not been located.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and he is expected to survive his injuries.

The police believe the shooting to be gang-related due to where the incident happened, which was just East of Santa Ana High School, in Santa Ana’s Ward 2, which is represented by Santa Ana Councilwoman Michele Martinez.

  1. Nothing new here, the police came almost ten minutes later all they found was a spent casing the car was silver in color, but i wonder if they believe it was gang related because of the corner where it happened or the city that it happened on?
