Santa Ana Gang Shooting

Two men were injured, including an innocent bystander who was in critical condition, after a gang shooting Tuesday night at about 8:14 p.m.,at the 1000 block of West 2nd Street, in Santa Ana, according to the O.C. Register.

Gang members were driving on West 2nd Street and shot the first victim, who is a known gang member but they also shot an innocent man in his 30s.

The innocent victim was in critical condition and had surgery for lofe-threatening injuries.

The drive by shooting happened a few blocks from Santa Ana High School, in Santa Ana’s Ward 5, which is represented by Councilman Roman Reyna.

Perhaps now that a innocent man has been shot in a gang drive by shooting the City Council will finally start reacting to the ongoing gang crisis in our city?

  1. I doubt this will push council members to act , unless this innocent bystander was directly related to one of them.

  2. That’s very true, this city is going down the drain and it doesn’t look like they are doing anything to stop it. I think there has been a shooting everyday in the past weeks.
