Angry David Benavides

Update: Confirmed.  The Santa Ana City Council voted 6-1 to fire City Manager Paul Walters.

The Santa Ana City Council is still in closed session but one of our readers, in the audience, was tipped off moments ago that they have voted to do the unthinkable – they are going to fire City Manager Paul Walters even though he saved our city last year from a budget crisis created by the previous City Manager, Dave Ream, and the Council.

This is by no means the end of this story.  The Council will have to agendize this for a future meeting.  But they have the votes to see this through.

Paul Walters Fired

A large crowd showed up at the Council meeting tonight to speak up in defense of Walters, who did so much for this city as our Chief of Police – a position he is contractually bound to return to.  That said, the next City Manager, likely an Interim Patsy, may fire Walters from that position as well.

This is going to cost Santa Ana taxpayers a fortune, in severance pay and benefits.  Ridiculous!  But get ready for more looting of the taxpayers as no doubt the Interim City Manager will pave the way for the Council to give a huge raise to the members of the Santa Ana Police Officers Association.

Time for a recall…

  1. Finally the “sanctuary city” we always dreamed of is upon us. The dictator is toppled and though his puppet stands. May the Aliens take over and populate the new world with baile Azteca. Hip Hip Hooray…. 6 to 1 Brilliant statistics. First an Occupier gets Woman of the year and now the Santa Ana Spring topples the Walter/Pulido Dictatorship authority. Maybe Idol No More will revolutionize the world. It is not a sign of health to be well adjusted to a sick society. Some have figured this out What about you Pedroza.

    1. “Cheri Kerr”…… Hmmmmmm

That was “Elvira” last night Teo. She thinks sometimes that she is Kerr.

I think that “Elvira” has a crash on Martinez.

I have seen last night in her that Domina like anger like inflicting a sexual pain on Martinez.

Obviously, by doing so she did nod help Walters and if she will continue in that direction she will destroy Pulido.

Same goes for the Pulido’s lumpenproletariat he dragged there to help Walters, like that idiot in that black uniform. I didn’t know that salvation army had new black uniforms.

However, I am still concern that Martinez does not fully recognize that “Elvira” in the picture is now big political asset and has no clue how to capitalize on it.

I think that “Elvira” will seduce Martinez forcing her to orgasmic cry.

  2. I’ve followed Santa Ana city politics for some time but I’ve never seen a group of City Council members beg for respect like this bunch. I’ve watched people over the years go after the Mayors and Councilmembers but in all those years I never heard them cry that no one respected them. My experience has been that those who have to ask for it, never get it.

  3. I still can’t believe what is happening in Santa Ana! Is it still a good place to invest money or start a business? Will these new leaders still respond to business concerns?

On a more specific note, will businesses still be able to contact Jill Arthur directly to access the Mayor? She was so good about getting back to us. Will Ms. Arthur still be working with the Mayor?

Also, as a business that does work for OCTA, will Mayor Pulido still be on that board? Is there any way Sarmiento can try to get the city select committee to appoint him instead? That would be tragic as Mayor Pulido has so much political influence because of that position and it will be hard to break in someone new.

It’s an uncertain time for business owners and I hope it turns out ok.

    1. I find it interesting that Angelica Amezcua had no problem throwing Walters under the bus. Especially since she hasn’t spent an hour with him and knows virtually nothing about him. She also seems to have no problem ignoring the pleas and requests from so many people from her ward who came forward to support Walters.
