It's the annual property tax that businesses pay for any equipment and supplies they purchase, year after year! Think you're done after paying sales tax for a purchase? nope! Business Personal Property includes, but is not limited to: Machinery Equipment Furniture Fax Machines Photocopiers Computers Telephones Desks & Chairs Bookcases Supplies I know it’s a different entity, but it’s the icing on the cake: I was just disgusted to fill out my annual Business Property Statement for the county.
