At about midnight last night, a 17 year-old boy was walking in the area of 1500 West Edinger when he was approached by a carload of gang members. The suspects yelled out their gang affiliation and then began to assault him, according to SAPD Case Number 16-24451.

One of the suspects stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim went to a local hospital to receive emergency care and is expected to survive.

This incident happened at the corner of S. Pacific and W. Edinger, not far from S. Bristol St., in Santa Ana’s Ward 4, which is represented by Council Member David Benavides.
